Capercaillie cider has a truly Scottish style: fresh-tasting local cider is matured in ex-malt whisky casks for months until the smoky, peaty, oaky influence of the cask balances the green apple sharpness of the cider perfectly and a smooth, complex drink with a long dry finish is the result.
Each cask is used twice at the most and gives a wonderful individuality to each batch of Capercaillie, especially as we use casks from several distilleries - we choose the casks for
freshness first, rather than flavour influence.
No sulphites, no additives, no sugar, 6.5% ABV.
Available in 3 Litre, 5 Litre and 10Litre pouches. Also available in 500ml bottles. ABV 6.5%
